Sippin' Sundays- June 19th, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Quincy Cellars, Ripley, NY
If your dad is more the sitting and drinking type, and is willing to go for a drive, you could check out Quincy Cellars. Live jazz music, an endless supply of Quincy Cellars wine, several Microbrews and a fresh appetizer menu – and no cover charge.
Rail Excursion- June 19th, 1:00 pm at Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad, Titusville, PA
You'll travel back in time... just by arriving at our home station, an 1892-vintage freight station in Titusville, PA. The three hour trip will take you to where oil history began.Tour guides describe the people and places that make up Pennsylvania Oil Country. Your family can share the fun of train travel and relive history.
Price: $17; $11 child.
These are just a few ideas to get you started, but Father’s Day is really about spending time together and doing (sometimes unfortunately) whatever Dad wants to do. I can tell you that if my Dad lived here I’d be sitting through a three hour train ride. As I will be visiting him in New York this year, I can look forward to my second time experiencing an all day local vintage tractor show.
