Safety Tips:

• Most important - Wear a helmet that is certified for snowmobiling and wear eye protection.
  
  
  
• Dress in layers with a water repellent outer layer –no cotton socks.
  
  
  
• Read the owner’s manual, know your machine and be sure it is in top shape.

• Check the whether before you start and know your route.
  
  
  
• Carry first aid kit that includes knife, compass, map of route and waterproof matches.
  
  
  
• Know your limits and the limits of your machine and stay safe in those limits.
  
  
  
• Stop before crossing any road and make sure nothing is coming down the road.
  
  
  
• Stay off public roads.Don’t drink alcohol or take drugs before or while driving.
  
  
  
• Do not speed. Speed is the big factor in almost all fatal snowmobile accidents.
  
  
  
• Ride in a group and always let someone know where you are going.
