Love Me Tender: The Story of Jeff and Lisa Hinespeter

Although life has a way of making things difficult at times, Jeff and Lisa are in love with each other and life itself. Overcoming and perseverance is the creed they live by. Married for almost 9 years, Jeff and Lisa enjoy life together come what may.
As individuals, they are very different from each other but together they are a wonderful, fun loving couple that compliment one another. Jeff, is outgoing, friendly and loves to share his talent. Lisa, is shy, quiet and reserved but through Jeff she has overcome her fears. She use to be reserved but now enjoys meeting new people and trying new things. Jeff is an Elvis impersonator and enjoys singing, dancing, acting and entertaining. He often uses his talent to benefit local non-profits and is very compassionate. It is certainly a show to see Jeff impersonate his idols, Elvis and Johnny Cash, but the real show is in the audience where Lisa, his biggest fan watches in admiration when he sings to her.
Just a short time ago, Jeff and Lisa lived a very sheltered life, they didn’t have many friends and rarely used to go out into the community. Jeff obtained a driver’s license and enjoys driving his custom van sporting an Elvis cut out, and has many community events to attend. Some of the things they enjoy are car shows, benefits, music festivals, volunteering and hanging out with friends. They are members of a self-advocacy group in which they help others believe in themselves to achieve their dreams.
When life’s circumstances and obstacles got in their way, Jeff and Lisa believed in themselves and would not let their dreams of getting married, getting a home, and having a full life be stifled. Now, they help others to speak up for individual rights and by their example they empower people to dream big.
Lisa works in the community and Jeff contributes his time and talent to help organization fund raisers and parties. They each have a lot to offer and enjoy making other’s happy. Living and sharing life together is something that comes natural to the two of them but it is how they inspire others that truly is a testimony to the love that is shared.
